About The Position

Seeking an experienced Epic Bridges Interface Analyst for an immediate long term consulting engagement.

The consultant will support interface development, maintenance, troubleshooting, and project initiatives across the enterprise. This role is primarily remote with onsite visits less than once per month, plus onsite presence required during go lives.

Requirements

• Current Epic Bridges certification or accreditation
• Proven experience designing and supporting Epic Bridges interfaces in a hospital or health system setting
• Strong understanding of HL7 messaging, interface engines, data mapping, and integration workflows
• Hands on experience with interface troubleshooting, monitoring, and message analysis
• Familiarity with Cloverleaf, Rhapsody, InterSystems Ensemble, Mirth, or similar interface engines
• Ability to translate integration requirements into effective build solutions
• Demonstrated problem solving, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast paced environment
• Availability to travel onsite less than once per month and during go lives

Responsibilities

• Serve as the subject matter expert for Epic Bridges and interface workflows across clinical and operational areas
• Design, build, test, and maintain HL7 interfaces and integrations between Epic and third party systems
• Support interface engine operations including monitoring, issue resolution, and performance optimization
• Conduct analysis to evaluate interface requirements and ensure accurate data mapping, routing, and transformation
• Collaborate with application teams, technical teams, and hospital stakeholders to implement efficient integration solutions
• Participate in change control processes, documentation, testing cycles, cutover planning, and go live support
• Troubleshoot data flow issues and perform root cause analysis to resolve interface errors or message failures
• Maintain documentation for build, configuration, and ongoing support activities
• Provide onsite assistance as needed during key project phases and go live events
