The Epic Application Coordinator at Riverside Healthcare is responsible for the implementation, support, and optimization of the Epic electronic health record (EHR) system and any other applications or systems related to their area of Epic expertise. This role involves coordinating with clinical and administrative teams to ensure systems meet the organization’s needs, managing system configurations, and providing end-user support. The Epic Application Coordinator plays a key role in enhancing workflows, ensuring data integrity, and driving system enhancements to improve patient care and operational efficiency. As such, they are responsible for obtaining and maintaining in-depth knowledge of the software functionality and acquiring knowledge of system workflows. The opportunity to work remotely is dependent on department needs and previous experience. In general, Epic Application Coordinators are expected to work on campus until fully certified, at which point opportunities for hybrid work schedules may become available. Fully remote work may be an option for a candidate with the right experience.
