The Epic Application Analyst L1 position at UF Health is a full-time role focused on patient management applications. The analyst will work primarily during the day shift, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. This role involves gathering information from various sources, analyzing and summarizing that information to draw conclusions and make informed decisions. The individual will utilize existing policies, knowledge bases, and available tools to formulate recommendations that meet business needs. The analyst will be responsible for assimilating customer requirements and employing standard Information Systems (IS) methodologies to design solutions for defined projects. This position is largely self-directed, operating within a general framework established by management for the analysis, design, testing, and implementation of business or clinical systems. The employee may need to access confidential and protected information to ensure the successful implementation and maintenance of systems, and must comply with all relevant policies regarding the use and security of this information. The role requires a strong foundation in analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. The analyst will also be expected to have experience with software applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases, to effectively perform their duties.
