About The Position

The Epic Application Analyst I will play a crucial role in the design, build, testing, training, and support of assigned Epic applications. This position is integral to managing communications, expectations, and deliverables between various Epic workgroups and councils, internal IT teams, external stakeholders, and vendors, all in support of Golden Valley Health Centers' Health IT (HIT) systems. The Analyst will work closely with IT leadership, HIT application and training teams, IT service desk, and IT engineering teams to ensure seamless operations and support for the applications. The role requires the Analyst to act as the primary support contact for end-users of the assigned applications, maintaining a deep knowledge of the configuration management of Epic and other HIT applications. The Analyst will manage support requests through IT Service Management software, prioritizing and resolving these requests with urgency. Additionally, the Analyst will develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and training plans for the assigned applications, ensuring that all stakeholders are well-informed and equipped to use the systems effectively. Regular communication with team members and organization leadership is essential, as the Analyst will hold weekly meetings to discuss the status of deliverables, shared issues, end-user concerns, budget, and upcoming milestones. On-site support will be provided during the implementation phase and when clinics go live on Epic applications, ensuring that any issues are triaged and resolved promptly. The Analyst must also maintain knowledge of applicable data privacy and security practices and regulations, ensuring compliance and safeguarding sensitive information.
