About The Position

Health Choice Network is seeking an Epic Application Analyst – Cheers to support the design, build, testing, optimization, and ongoing maintenance of Epic Cheers functionality. This role works closely with end users, operational leaders, and technical teams to improve workflows, enhance user experience, and ensure alignment with organizational needs. The ideal candidate has experience with Epic application support, deep understanding of workflow design, and the ability to translate end‑user needs into effective system solutions. Epic Cheers Certification is required.

Requirements

  • Epic Cheers Certification
  • 3+ years of experience in an IT-related role OR Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare IT, or a related field OR equivalent combined experience
  • Strong technical understanding of EHR systems
  • Experience with workflow design, system build, testing, and troubleshooting
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Experience supporting cross‑module workflows
  • Background in healthcare operations or clinical systems

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary support contact for end users of the Epic Cheers application
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues impacting Cheers and any integrated applications
  • Guide and develop workflows, including design, build, and system testing
  • Analyze and resolve technical issues within the EHR related to Cheers
  • Implement requested system changes and enhancements
  • Serve as a liaison between end users, operational leadership, and implementation teams
  • Maintain ongoing communication with Epic representatives and internal project teams
  • Collaborate with organizational stakeholders to ensure system functionality meets business needs
  • Assist with end-user training initiatives
  • Provide clear explanations of workflow changes and system updates
  • Document issues, solutions, workflows, and change requests
  • Participate in weekly project meetings and internal team check-ins
  • Discuss deliverable status, end‑user feedback, issues, and upcoming milestones
  • Maintain HIPAA compliance and support other assigned duties
