About The Position

The Epic Ambulatory Systems Analyst III at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia is a senior-level position responsible for providing advanced support and system configuration for Epic applications, particularly in the Ambulatory space. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or Healthcare.
  • At least two years of experience working within a healthcare environment and within Information Systems.
  • Epic Ambulatory Certification (preferred).
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Advanced critical thinking, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to facilitate meetings with senior leaders and cross-functional groups.
  • Advanced documentation skills.
  • Mentoring and teaching of staff.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working within a healthcare environment for at least three years (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Perform operational support, maintenance, and system configuration as defined in departmental operating procedures.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve data and system issues of advanced complexity.
  • Work independently and lead small teams in support of team initiatives and projects.
  • Gather requirements, develop specifications, prepare and review documentation.
  • Develop, validate, and execute comprehensive test plans.
  • Perform 24/7 on-call support if applicable.
  • Communicate effectively, negotiate changes, and assist in prioritization of tasks with clients, vendors, and colleagues.
  • Educate and coach other team members.
  • Represent DTS and/or present to various Hospital Clinical and/or Operations committees.
