Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in Healthcare and EHR experience, with a focus on Ambulatory Epic experience.
  • Strong hands-on implementation experience in Ambulatory.
  • Ambulatory Epic certification required.
  • Strong understanding of Ambulatory workflows, clinical operations, and IT strategy.
  • Experience contributing to EHR implementation plans (scope and timelines).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with diverse groups of clients, team members, managers, and vendors.
  • HS Diploma/ GED.

Nice To Haves

  • Epic Cadance and Inpatient experience is preferred.
  • Bachelor's or Associate's Degree.

Responsibilities

  • Implement, build, maintain and optimize Epic integration systems leveraging Epic skills.
  • Work closely with the project team's clinical leaders to translate business needs into EMR functionality and enhancements.
  • Identify gaps in workflows and provide mutually agreeable solutions to close these gaps.
  • Design, build, test, and implement Epic integration application systems.
  • Create or adapt written protocols in collaboration with clinicians.
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide solutions to prevailing problems.
