About The Position

The EPC Account Manager will lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive sales & marketing strategy amongst EPC's leveraging the entire Eaton portfolio, while supporting early stage opportunities across North America Sales (NAS).One will lead the creation and execution of integrated sales & marketing campaigns, programs and tools that drive brand awareness, foster customer loyalty, increase customer engagement, drive demand creation for our solutions and services, all while leading Eaton’s position at EPC's at an enterprise level. The EPC Account Manager will also collaborate with our sales, marketing communications, and product marketing teams to ensure that strategies align with broader business goals and customer needs while positioning Eaton as a leader in the EPC space coordinating with all verticals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum seven (7) years of sales & marketing experience
  • Possess a valid driver’s license
  • No relocation is offered for this position. All candidates must currently reside within 50 miles of Houston, TX or Austin, TX to be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
  • Possess excellent communication skills
  • Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
  • Understanding of the electrical industry and how key themes such as digitalization, electrification and energy transition are impacting the industry
  • Proven leadership skills, detail-oriented, high level of integrity, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well with people across multiple functions and strong presentation skills
  • Proven ability in managing complex sales cycles from start to finish with a track record of successful revenue attainment
  • Adaptable/flexible and able to thrive in a highly dynamic environment
  • Possess a creative mindset and entrepreneurial spirit with strong drive for results with a high degree of passion and energy
  • Ability to travel up to 25%

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead the execution of comprehensive sales & marketing strategy collaborating with key stakeholders such as product marketing, sales and marketing communications to define and execute marketing plans, campaigns, initiatives, promotions, selling tools and communications that drive demand creation and sales across digital/traditional channels
  • Lead Eaton’s presence at strategic industry associations and related conferences and events to ensure Eaton is positioned as a thought leader in defined subsegments and as it relates to digital, electrification and energy transition
  • Act as a strategic selling resource for our sales teams that coaches/leads our sales teams how to close large complex projects while developing higher level relationships with key industry stakeholders such as strategic end users
  • Work on RFP evaluation; analyze and qualify incoming RFPs to determine feasibility, alignment with company capabilities and strategic fit
  • Ensure sales & brand alignment with segment messaging, creative content, product positioning & launching that resonates with targeted sub segments while aligning segment messaging across all touchpoints to deliver a cohesive customer experience
  • Conduct comprehensive market research and analyze industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer pain points to gain understanding and valuable insights into customer needs & share with internal stakeholders
  • Develop segment specific sales tools based off message maps to support sales enablement, such segment playbooks, selling presentations, line cards and customer success stories
  • Collaborate with the sales team & channel to identify, target and define strategic accounts while executing selling strategies and account plans
  • Partner with the business and analytics teams to develop and maintain accurate and dynamic sales funnels and dashboards
