Maintain and operate Insulbar equipment while producing parts to satisfy quality standards and production schedules
Support leads and management in their methods of making improvements
Ensure regular and predictable attendance, safely perform tasks, and adhere to all safety policies and procedures
Perform dimensional inspection of product as required
Monitor and change cutting tools (inserts) as needed
Load, unload, and pack products relative to the daily schedule
Ensure correct orientation of product being placed in machinery
Complete minor maintenance as required
Drive forklift and perform duties with minimal supervision
Enter computer commands to retrieve stored parts data and programs
Pack materials in accordance with customer requirements
Review drawings to determine job specifications and requirements
Utilize resources to perform machining functions in a safe manner at all times
Review daily stock levels of product and re-stock based on visual/MRP indicators
Perform any additional duties assigned by the Manager/Supervisor

Proven ability to foresee changes relevant to area of responsibility
Proven ability to organize work assignments to ensure efficient operations of machining environment
Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner to achieve intended objective
Generate part programs that meet production objectives for optimum cost, quality, speed, throughput, and on-time customer deliveries
Capacity to learn and understand MRP programs
Basic PC skills
Flexibility to set up and run machines in another department - Thermal
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to follow verbal and basic written instructions
Flexible work availability to work overtime as required
One year of previous work experience in a manufacturing or production facility
