  • Maintain and operate Insulbar equipment while producing parts to satisfy quality standards and production schedules
  • Support leads and management in their methods of making improvements
  • Ensure regular and predictable attendance, safely perform tasks, and adhere to all safety policies and procedures
  • Perform dimensional inspection of product as required
  • Monitor and change cutting tools (inserts) as needed
  • Load, unload, and pack products relative to the daily schedule
  • Ensure correct orientation of product being placed in machinery
  • Complete minor maintenance as required
  • Drive forklift and perform duties with minimal supervision
  • Enter computer commands to retrieve stored parts data and programs
  • Pack materials in accordance with customer requirements
  • Review drawings to determine job specifications and requirements
  • Utilize resources to perform machining functions in a safe manner at all times
  • Review daily stock levels of product and re-stock based on visual/MRP indicators
  • Perform any additional duties assigned by the Manager/Supervisor
  • Proven ability to foresee changes relevant to area of responsibility
  • Proven ability to organize work assignments to ensure efficient operations of machining environment
  • Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner to achieve intended objective
  • Generate part programs that meet production objectives for optimum cost, quality, speed, throughput, and on-time customer deliveries
  • Capacity to learn and understand MRP programs
  • Basic PC skills
  • Flexibility to set up and run machines in another department - Thermal
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to follow verbal and basic written instructions
  • Flexible work availability to work overtime as required
  • One year of previous work experience in a manufacturing or production facility
