About The Position

Kansas City Heart Rhythm Institute is seeking a fellowship-trained electrophysiologist to join their practice. The position offers an excellent first-year base salary plus a collections-based productivity component, with earning potential in the top deciles of MGMA compensation benchmarks. The practice is supported by Wesley Medical Center, a 712-bed, 102-bassinet level 1 trauma center that draws from two-thirds of Kansas and parts of contiguous states.

Requirements

• BE/BC in electrophysiology with ACGME accredited cardiology and EP fellowships.
• 2 years or more of practice experience preferred.
• Expertise and interest in Laser lead extraction.
• Experience in ventricular tachycardia ablation with epicardial ablation preferred.
• Experience in atrial fibrillation ablation.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrophysiology procedures including Laser lead extraction, ventricular tachycardia ablation, and atrial fibrillation ablation.
• Provide patient care and follow-up in the electrophysiology clinic.
• Collaborate with other cardiology specialists and healthcare professionals.
