About The Position

The EBS (Continuous Improvement) Leader at Metrex is responsible for promoting and facilitating the successful implementation and sustainment of the Envista Business System in Romulus, focusing on operations and supporting commercial activities. This role involves driving sustainable improvements, cultivating a continuous improvement culture, and providing training and coaching on EBS tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, MIS, or other technical degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar position (e.g., Lean Promotions Officer, Value Stream Manager, Process Improvement Leader).

Responsibilities

  • Drive targeted, sustainable improvement tied to Policy Deployment (PD) and Daily Management (DM) using EBS tools.
  • Assist leadership in developing a Growth and Operations improvement roadmap.
  • Cultivate a continuous improvement culture by leading kaizen events and processes.
  • Assist in the deployment and sustainment of EBS Tools for Growth.
  • Contribute to site level PD and coordinate RCCM's in advance of meetings.
  • Plan and run Boot Camp and Presidents events for the site.
  • Provide formal and informal EBS training and coaching.
  • Facilitate other EBS training sessions as appropriate.
  • Participate in PD and Daily Management reviews regularly.
  • Improve EBS training and facilitation skills by pursuing certification in EBS tools.
  • Evaluate and approve associates' certification to drive site EBS capabilities.
  • Promote and facilitate associate development in EBS tools.
  • Drive awareness and interest in EBS Tools within Copco.
  • Benchmark and incorporate best practices.
