About The Position

Primarily responsible for housekeeping, cleaning, and various manual labor duties.

Requirements

• Ability to operate a Forklift required.
• Be able to perform all physical requirements of the job and work in a safe manner.
• Must be able to work independently and as a part of a team.
• Ability to read, write, keep neat and accurate records, and follow written and verbal instructions.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Forklift certification

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a warehouse environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Communal areas (excluding offices) like: Warehouse, Blending, Maintenance Shop, Concrete Truck Court, Rail-Road Tracks, Parking Lots, Retention Pond (as required), and any other area indicated by Maintenance Manager. Ensure areas mentioned before are clean and free of “fugitive” pellets (“Floor Sweep” - spill control).
• Ensure all drain baskets (30x30” and round drains) from truck court and blending operation areas are clean and free of pellets.
• Pick up litter and trash from ground and landscaping areas.
• Pick up trash and recycle items from designated cleaning stations and dumpsters.
• Perform cleaning tasks as indicated by direct supervisor.
• Work following safety practices and company rules and policies.
• Execute assignments in an accurate, timely, and safe manner.
• Identify potential hazards and report to immediate supervisor.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
• Commit to OCS Blue & OSHA Safety facility standard.
