Overview The Environmental Test Engineer III creates and develops application specific software, hardware, and documentation as required to ensure the quality and integrity of product. This role ensures all elements of the applicable product specifications/requirements are tested and verified. The Test Engineer III works with limited supervision and mentors lower-level engineers and technicians.

Requirements

  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in a specialized functional discipline. OR (9) years of experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelors Degree. OR (3) years of experience may be considered w/ a Masters Degree.
  • Applicable experience in lieu of a Degree may be considered.
  • This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by either ITAR or EAR U.S. export laws. As a condition to this job offer, in order to be employed in this position, you must be able to obtain an U.S. Government export license(s), as required by law.

Responsibilities

  • Develop test plans, hardware, software, and test reports
  • Oversee the execution of electrical and environmental testing as necessary
  • Design specialized test equipment and develop operating procedures
  • Perform vibration, shock, thermal, altitude, power and RF testing as needed.
  • Interpret test results, identify and resolve product failures
  • Work cross-functionally to resolve product issues with RF Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Quality
  • Lead test plan and test report review
  • identify improvements in yield, coverage, execution, and reliability of test solutions
