Wetland Studies and Solutions, Inc., a Davey company, is seeking interns to join our Maryland team for summer 2026. Duties will include, but not be limited to, invasive plant control, vegetation monitoring/transplanting, erosion control, and stream enhancement/restoration and maintenance. Interns will have the opportunity to rotate through different departments including ecosystems management, environmental science, urban forestry, and environmental compliance. Interns will also participate in in-house training courses including plant identification, wetland delineation, and land navigation/orienteering. Work will require travel to Cecil County, Maryland on a part-time basis. Applicants should be interested in and understand wetland and riparian ecology and possess a strong work ethic with the desire to gain experience in different aspects of environmental consulting. This internship involves a large amount of outdoor work with rigorous physical labor and may occasionally involve working long hours. Interns will be expected to apply herbicide under the supervision of a Maryland Certified Pesticide Applicator. At least one year of undergraduate studies in a related field is required.
