About The Position
Under the direction of the Operations Manager or department supervisor, perform tasks to prepare lamps for recycling. The essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to: following written procedures in line with policies and facility certifications, meeting or exceeding daily production goals, working with Shipping/Receiving to streamline transfers to the proper department, sorting and segregating recycling lamps into appropriate categories, using appropriate methods to track and inventory materials within CycleLution, and packaging materials in preparation for outbound shipment. Attention to detail and technical knowledge to identify products are crucial. The role also requires the ability to perform sorting and packaging of different types of lamps, assist Shipping & Receiving when needed for loading/unloading materials, and maintain reliable, regular attendance to meet business needs. Occasional travel to customer locations for onsite service may be required.
