About The Position
Do you have an eye for detail and cleanliness and enjoy being around people? If so the Y is looking for you to join our Environmental Department! Specific Details: Weekends (Saturday and Sunday) – 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm Weekdays (Monday - Friday) - 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, etc.
- Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment
- Ability to work on your feet for multiple hours at a time
- Ability to move tables, chairs, etc., and lift up to 50 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Perform housekeeping duties as assigned to ensure the cleanliness of the facility
- Collect, wash and dry towels used by members for cleaning exercise equipment
- Set up and take down program events as needed
