About The Position
EnviroTrac LLC is seeking an Environmental Technician (Geoprobe/Equipment Operator) with 1–3 years of experience to join their Ohio team. This full-time role involves working in the field on a variety of environmental projects with opportunities for professional growth. Requirements
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Experience operating a geoprobe and/or heavy equipment
- Strict adherence to EnviroTrac Health & Safety standards and company policies
- Knowledge of OSHA requirements and compliance standards
- Ability to supervise subcontractors during complex field activities
- Conducting monitoring well elevation surveying
- Creating scaled field maps
- Performing remedial system troubleshooting and maintenance
- Servicing pumps, blowers, and compressors
- Overseeing excavation and soil sampling activities
- Procuring necessary equipment and materials
- Physically able to climb ladders, stairs, and navigate varied terrain
- Valid Driver’s License required

- OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification
- Current OSHA 8-hour Refresher
- Mechanically inclined and technically resourceful
- Self-motivated and able to work independently under tight deadlines
Responsibilities
- Operating a geoprobe, excavator, loader, and skid steer
- Performing air, soil, and groundwater monitoring/sampling
- Overseeing remediation system installation
- Conducting environmental site assessments
- Supporting spill response activities
- Assisting in UST closures
- Completing field documentation, analysis, and surveying
- Performing system operations and maintenance tasks
