Sanitize and disinfect specific areas such as patient rooms, nurse's stations, waiting areas, meeting rooms, offices, corridors, and common areas Contribute to hospital efficiency and integrity by maintaining quality cleanliness in accordance with hospital and CDC guidelines Understand and utilize all safety guidelines and procedures when using cleaning chemicals and disposing of hazardous materials Inventory and ensure proper storage of hazardous materials for ignitability (flammable), corrosivity (rust), reactivity (explosive), toxicity (poison), etc. Appropriately display signs to prevent injuries of patients, employees, and visitors such as slips and/or falls
