Job Details The Environmental Services Aide is responsible for performing hospital wide cleaning duties per established policies and procedures as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED or relevant experience required
- Must be detail oriented with excellent customer service skills
- One to two years of housekeeping or service worker experience is preferred
- Must be available to work every other weekend
- Ability to walk or stand for prolonged periods. Requires bending, stooping, reaching up, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Exposure to chemicals on a constant basis requiring special clothing or safety equipment
Responsibilities
- Practice efficient use of cleaning techniques, solutions, equipment and tools.
- Perform all cleaning, floor care and project assignments within area of responsibility or as directed by supervisor
- Perform related services, such as bed moves, changing mattresses, stocking supplies, etc.
- Maintain high standards; works steadily at efficient pace; achieves high QA score
- Assist other associates as necessary. Responds to direction as provided.
