The Environmental Service Aide's primary responsibility is to maintain a clean environment for all patients, visitors and staff. The employee puts an emphasis on Infection Control procedures and Customer Service. The employee also performs such other related duties as may be assigned or required with emphasis on hand hygiene and patient confidentiality.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED or work experience required
- Must be able to speak and understand English.
- 1 year of EVS experience in a healthcare setting preferred
Responsibilities
- Routine cleaning of all patient rooms, misc. areas, offices, public areas and public restrooms, all hallways, elevators and staircases and waste removal.
