The Environmental Services Aide is responsible for performing hospital wide cleaning duties per established policies and procedures as assigned.

Requirements

High School Diploma, GED or relevant experience required
Must be detail oriented with excellent customer service skills
One to two years of housekeeping or service worker experience is preferred
Must be available to work every other weekend
Ability to walk or stand for prolonged periods. Requires bending, stooping, reaching up, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Exposure to chemicals on a constant basis requiring special clothing or safety equipment

Responsibilities

Practice efficient use of cleaning techniques, solutions, equipment and tools.
Perform all cleaning, floor care and project assignments within area of responsibility or as directed by supervisor
Perform related services, such as bed moves, changing mattresses, stocking supplies, etc.
Maintain high standards; works steadily at efficient pace; achieves high QA score
Assist other associates as necessary. Responds to direction as provided.
