Job Summary: The Environmental Sustainability Analyst supports Labcorp’s global sustainability strategy by managing environmental data systems, advancing key metrics, and collaborating on operational initiatives. This role is responsible for organizing, modeling, and tracking sustainability data to inform planning and performance, ensuring data accuracy, and delivering actionable insights to leadership and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field (eg: Environmental Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business Administration, Data Management, Data Science, Data Analytics etc)
  • 3+ years of proven experience in sustainability data management and reporting.
  • Proven experience in automating reports and dashboards (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel).
  • Experience supporting external assurance processes and corporate reporting.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Proactive problem-solving and process improvement orientation.
  • Passion for sustainability and continuous improvement.
  • An ability to synthesize and translate complex information into clear, informative, and compelling materials (e.g., summaries, fact sheets, presentations, online dashboards, and reports) for diverse audiences.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior Experience in TCFD, and GRI alignment and strong understanding of sustainability frameworks (SASB, GRI, TCFD, CDP, EcoVadis etc).
  • Certifications similar to GHG Protocol, FSA Credential, GARP Climate Risk, CFA ESG Investing, ISSP Sustainability Excellence, CESGA, and GRI Standards Certification etc

Responsibilities

  • Execute Labcorp’s global sustainability data and reporting systems and processes.
  • Coordinate, organize, and assure the completeness and quality of environmental sustainability data, ensuring high data integrity.
  • Design and implement automation for data collection and reporting to streamline sustainability communications.
  • Develop and maintain reports aligned with Sustainability standards such as GRI, TCFD, SASB, and other external standards.
  • Support Labcorp’s Corporate Responsibility Report (CRR) publishing through data analysis and visualization.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external assurance providers to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
  • Track and report progress toward SBTi and any other sustainability goal.
  • Monitor environmental goals related to Labcorp’s focus areas and established goals.
  • Conduct rigorous data analysis to identify trends and improvement opportunities, partnering with relevant teams to implement solutions.
  • Provide timely reports to leadership to communicate progress toward sustainability goals or call for action.
  • Cultivate consistent communication and collaboration with internal data owners and business partners for effective data acquisition.
  • Ensure timely completion of data submissions from various working groups.
  • Engage and coordinate with key stakeholders to address questions or requests.
  • Proactively identify areas to enhance and streamline sustainability data collection and reporting methodologies.
  • Assist in planning and tracking emission reduction projects and energy efficiency programs.
  • Provide analytical support for operational sustainability initiatives and performance dashboards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement sustainability improvements.
