About The Position

What we are looking for Highly motivated individual who provides outstanding customer service by performing general cleaning, disinfecting and sanitation of facilities and their components.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or 6 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be able to communicate in both English and Spanish.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Must have a personal vehicle with insurance coverage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies and janitorial service Best Practices.
  • Integrity and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains a clean, healthy, and safe environment for employees and customers.
  • Ensures an environment that complies with all regulatory requirements.
  • Maintains Safety Data Sheets for chemicals used at each facility.
  • Knows the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Ensures staff is well equipped.
  • Manages Environmental Team Leaders and Environmental Associates at four different facilities.
  • Works closely with Team Leaders on their work schedules and inventory supplies.
  • Assigns duties to staff and regularly inspects their work to ensure that established standards are met.
  • Performs random audits on the cleanliness of the facilities and addresses any issues.
  • Informs the Facilities Manager of any miscellaneous worn or broken items that need repair.
  • Uses own personal vehicle to travel between facilities, run errands, and purchase supplies (mileage to be reimbursed at the end of every month).
  • Trains staff in cleaning methods and procedures and proper operation of equipment.
  • Performs and supervises general cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitizing tasks and services throughout facilities to include but not limited to restrooms, breakrooms, offices, and conference rooms.
  • Ensures staff utilizes cleaning tools provided by ECC.
  • Ensures environmental closets are organized.
  • Notifies Manager(s) of any safety hazards.
  • Documents and reviews routine inspections and maintenance activities.
  • Communicates via phone and email when necessary.
  • Manages environmental team schedules and time off requests.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
