Position Summary: We are seeking an Environmental Specialist to work at our federal customer site in Lakewood, CO and to join our collaborative, innovative, customer-centric culture.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of environmental management or compliance experience.
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations and terminology.
  • Experience with ISO 14000 / EMS documentation.
  • Strong writing, organization, and document control skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Word and Excel; familiarity with MS Project and PowerPoint preferred.
  • Ability to manage assignments independently and work with federal customers and contractors.

Responsibilities

  • Support development and implementation of Safety and Environmental Management Systems (SEMS).
  • Deliver SEMS awareness training and maintain training materials.
  • Assist with development and implementation of LEED program activities and documentation.
  • Recommend program updates to maintain compliance with executive orders and environmental regulations.
  • Review contractor work for accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance.
  • Prepare scopes of work, task orders, and environmental reports.
  • Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local environmental programs.
  • Coordinate project schedules, track metrics, and support program improvements.
  • Maintain electronic and hard‑copy environmental records.
  • Create and facilitate environmental training for customer staff.
