Ohio EPA wants you to join our team as an environmental specialist with the Division of Air Pollution Control (DAPC) at our Northwest District Office in Wood County. Interested in lending a hand to protect Ohio’s air quality? Read on! We’re looking for dedicated individual to perform highly technical work supporting our air monitoring network. In this role you’ll install, operate, maintain, and calibrate sensitive air monitoring equipment, including high volume particulate samplers and continuous monitors, at regulated sources of air pollution around the state. You’ll assist with collating, analyzing and reporting air quality data, and completing accurate logs and reports. We’ll need your attention to details to report on the status of monitoring activities, internal and external audits, and quality assurance/quality control activities according to DAPC’s standards and policies. As needed, you’ll conduct investigations of air pollution complaints, prepare your findings and recommend resolutions and corrective actions to DAPC management.
