Jackson Purchase Medical Center is a 107 all private bed, Joint Commission-accredited facility. From emergent to elective, our facility offers a wide variety of inpatient and outpatient services, including those offered at the New Beginnings Birthing Center, the Advanced Healing Wound Care Center and our accredited chest pain center. Position Summary: SERVICE WORKER - EVS Creates a sanitary, safe environment and enhances the appearance of the facility.
Requirements
- No license or certification required
- Position requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability tow ork with minimal supervision
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
Nice To Haves
- Work experience: previous clinical housekeeping experience, preferred
- Education: High School education or equivalent, preferred
Responsibilities
- Cleans patient rooms and other assigned areas daily, including collecting and removing trash, changing bed linens and sanitizing all surfaces
- Follows policies and procedures on patient isolation
- Stocks paper items and other supplies in patient rooms as necessary or designated.
- Maintains cart and equipment in clean, working condition and stores in appropriate storage area when finished with shift.
- Review and comply with Lifepoint Code of Conduct and all relevant Company and Division policies and procedures
