About The Position

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Environmental Services Technician to join our hospital team. This position plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff while supporting infection prevention and safety standards. The Environmental Services Technician is responsible for cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms, offices, restrooms, and common areas in accordance with hospital and infection control guidelines. Duties include proper handling and disposal of waste, including regulated medical waste, replenishing supplies such as paper products and soap, and responding to cleaning requests in a timely and professional manner. The role requires following all safety, sanitation, and cleaning procedures, maintaining patient confidentiality, and demonstrating professionalism at all times. The ideal candidate will have prior housekeeping or environmental services experience, preferably in a healthcare setting, though this is not required. Candidates must be able to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrate strong attention to detail, and commit to reliable attendance and punctuality. The position requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
