Requirements

High School diploma or GED preferred.
Prior cleaning experience in a health care setting preferred. Other cleaning experience may be accepted.
Knowledge of chemicals and equipment used for cleaning in a health care setting.
Knowledge of safety hazards and necessary safety precautions to create a safe environment in a healthcare setting.

Nice To Haves

Prior cleaning experience in a health care setting preferred.
High School diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

Clean all patient rooms and common areas.
Discharge cleaning – thoroughly clean patient’s rooms after the patient has left the hospital.
Cycle Cleaning – weekly or monthly detailed cleaning of all surfaces.
Carpet & Upholstery Care – vacuum all carpeted floors regularly, treat spots and stains on carpet or upholstery as needed.
Hard Surface Floors – daily or more frequently dust, damp and spot mop.
Participate in on-call and weekend rotation.
