About The Position

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • Prior cleaning experience in a health care setting preferred. Other cleaning experience may be accepted.
  • Knowledge of chemicals and equipment used for cleaning in a health care setting.
  • Knowledge of safety hazards and necessary safety precautions to create a safe environment in a healthcare setting.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior cleaning experience in a health care setting preferred.
  • High School diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Clean all patient rooms and common areas.
  • Discharge cleaning – thoroughly clean patient’s rooms after the patient has left the hospital.
  • Cycle Cleaning – weekly or monthly detailed cleaning of all surfaces.
  • Carpet & Upholstery Care – vacuum all carpeted floors regularly, treat spots and stains on carpet or upholstery as needed.
  • Hard Surface Floors – daily or more frequently dust, damp and spot mop.
  • Participate in on-call and weekend rotation.
