The Environmental Services Technician is responsible for maintaining all hospital facilities in a clean and sanitary manner according to established policies and procedures, under the guidance of a Manager. This role also involves completing special procedures as assigned. Children’s Mercy values kindness, curiosity, inclusion, team, and integrity, and strives for a diverse workforce. As a condition of employment, employees are required to receive the seasonal influenza vaccine and must be willing to be vaccinated for measles, mumps, rubella (MMR) and chicken pox (varicella) if non-immune, and have evidence of tetanus, diphtheria, acellular pertussis (Tdap) vaccination since 2005. Medical and/or religious exemptions can be discussed with Human Resources.
