Clean and keep DRH Health facilities and locations in an orderly condition. RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS): Utilize chemicals to clean offices, patients’/residents’ rooms, dorms, classrooms, schools, common areas, lavatories, halls, food service areas, and any other areas that may require attention. Sweep, mop, scrub, and/or polish floors. Vacuum hallways, stairs, and offices. Clean light fixtures, ceilings, vents, walls, mattresses, furniture, windows, and window coverings. Stock and replenish supplies. Empty trash containers. Shampoo/clean carpet and buff/polish floors requiring the use of mechanical equipment, as needed. Change sheets and replenish linens, as needed. Perform routine equipment maintenance and minor repairs, as needed. Drive cart or other vehicle, as needed. Move furniture and set up tables and chairs, as needed. Advise management of supplies, equipment, maintenance, and repair needs. Regular attendance and punctuality for scheduled shifts. Follow dress code policy. Utilization of assistive devices for lifting is mandatory. Attend training as needed. Must adhere to safety protocols at all times. Per DRH policy, all required conditions of employment must be met and maintained including required vaccinations. This position requires respirator and fit testing. Required testing will be performed on all team members at risk for exposure to airborne infectious diseases, droplet producing procedures, or any caustic chemicals.
