The successful candidate: Shift: Saturday & Sunday 6:00AM-4:30PM The Environmental Services Technician is a member of the COH Environmental Services team and is responsible for performing established standard cleaning procedures to provide non-medical sanitation support in assigned unit of the hospital. This position operates equipment and utilizes necessary tools, products, and supplies to complete general cleaning duties with a goal of providing a safe, attractive, environment for patients, visitors, and employees within the hospital.
Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Must be able to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions.
- Strong Customer services skills
- Ability to work well on a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience: Healthcare Environmental Services experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Duties may include, but are not limited to, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning light fixtures and furniture and emptying trash for assigned unit.
