About The Position

The Environmental Services (EVS) Technician assists to help fight the spread of infection, this position assists in maintaining a neat, sanitary, and pleasing physical environment by performing a variety of cleaning, disposal and resupplying duties. This role disinfects healthcare equipment and facilities.

Requirements

Self-motivating, independent worker/qualities. Candidate must remain organized, can respond to urgent requests, and has the ability to handle repetitive tasks while focusing on cleanliness.
Attention to detail is required.
Strong customer service focus required. Ability to show empathy and compassion to our patients, residents and tenants is important.
Adds value to the team and provides regular feedback regarding quality improvement initiatives and teamwork.
Strong communication skills and ability to follow written and oral instruction is important.
Positive demeanor is required. Smiles are a must!
Adheres to safety requirements/regulations.
Candidate must have the ability to navigate through basic computer systems.
This position is a year-round role.
Must be at least 18 years of age and meet the physical job requirements.
