Pulaski County Environmental Services is seeking to fill a part-time Environmental Services Technician position. This position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation and order through sweeping, mopping, dusting and trash removal; sanitizing restrooms and restocking supplies; performing minor repairs (light bulbs, leaks, etc.); ensuring building security by locking doors; managing inventory of cleaning supplies and reporting major maintenance needs all while following strict safety protocols to create a safe, welcoming and functional environment for the public. This position reports to the Environmental Services Supervisor. Work hours are Monday to Friday, with 20-29 hours per week. The specific hours each day will be determined by the Environmental Services Supervisor. Some evening and weekend work required. The pay range for this position is $14 to $20 per hour and is commensurate with education and experience. Educational Requirements: Applicant must possess a high school diploma, GED or equivalent.
