Our full range of medical services include a new pavilion featuring enhancements in heart and vascular care, surgery, maternity, cancer care, and diagnostic imaging. Job Summary and Responsibilities $1,500 Sign on Bonus What you’ll do: As an Environmental Services Technician (EVS) at CHI Health, you’ll join a team of EVS techs who prioritize the safety of our employees, patients, and visitors by ensuring a safe and sanitized environment for all. We provide you with personal protective equipment (PPE) to keep you safe and while you’re providing that same level of safety to others.

Responsibilities
- Cleans and disinfects patient, ancillary and public areas as assigned daily following established procedures.
- Operates manual, battery-powered and electric equipment such as mechanical floor cleaners and vacuums.
- Maintains and stores all equipment in a safe, sanitary manner.
- Collects, handles and disposes of designated waste streams and soiled linens in the prescribed manner.
- Completes stat and routine discharge room cleans.
- Identifies and reports work orders for maintenance/refurbishing needs.
- Inspects EVS equipment for cleanliness and need for repair.
