The responsibilities of this position include entry level maintenance duties combined with housekeeping duties. Entry Level Environmental Services Tech Responsibilities:
Requirements
- Experience in cleaning, changing filters, and performing routine equipment maintenance.
- The ability to diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement effective solutions.
- Understanding how to use various cleaning chemicals and supplies effectively and safely on different surfaces.
- Familiarity with common cleaning equipment and tools used in housekeeping.
- Working with a team, requiring a collaborative approach to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
- The ability to prioritize tasks and manage your time effectively.
- Maintaining a positive attitude and a courteous demeanor when interacting with clients.
Responsibilities
- Ground maintenance activities such as disposing of refuse
- Cleaning areas as assigned to include common areas, laundry room, restrooms, etc. of the facility
- Sweep, mop, vacuum hallways, stairs, and clean office spaces
- Trash removal
- Setting up rooms for functions, activities and meetings as well as taking down for clean up of area after activities
- Cleaning resident apartments; dust, mop, vacuum, empty garbage, clean bathroom and assist with laundry
- Assist with apartment turnovers
- Work within company policies and safety regulations
- Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of work
- Analyze and resolves work problems
- Maintain time and production records
- Snow removal
- Other duties as assigned
