About The Position

The position is for a full-time Environmental Services team member at Carolinas Medical Center: Mercy. Requirements

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks in assigned area following a 7-Step cleaning process.
• Remake beds after disinfecting during discharge cleaning.
• Maintain floors and carpets according to the maintenance schedule.
• Clean fixtures, furnishings, walls, woodwork, floors, stairwells, interior windows, elevators/tracks, and exteriors of equipment.
• Empty trash, wipe and reline containers, and operate compactor if necessary.
• Replenish all disposable items such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.
• Move and reset furnishings to original locations after job completion.
• Perform all methods of floor care including dust mopping, wet mopping, stripping, refinishing, spot cleaning, burnishing, and extraction using specified equipment.
