Environmental Services Facilities Lead UnityPoint Health - Fort D odge FTE: 1.0 (Full-time, 40 hours per week) Shift: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm with some weekends and holidays as needed. Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old.

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma/GED preferred.
  • Previous housekeeping experience in a health care facility strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Performs all functions of Environmental Services Tech in addition to coordinating daily activities of the team
  • provides guidance and direction to staff to achieve compliance with organizational and unit policies and standards.
  • Will be responsible for housekeeping duties throughout assigned area to ensure the cleanliness of the facilities.
  • Will include public areas, patient rooms, offices, corridors, restrooms, baths and showers, elevators, stairways, exam rooms, laboratories, diagnostic and procedure areas, and exterior entrances.
  • Will also assist with moving furniture and room setups and delivery of patient care items.
  • Typical duties include but are not limited to: dry and wet mopping, wiping off counters and other surfaces, vacuuming, pulling trash, high dusting, edging, cleaning sinks, toilets, showers and tubs, auto scrubbing, bovaccing, extracting carpets, cleaning stairwells, and operating cardboard packer.
