About The Position

Responsible for performing duties while demonstrating a working knowledge of healthcare cleaning and disinfecting principles and requirements, proper and safe chemical use, and equipment handling within the healthcare environment.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Six (6) months of related experience preferred.
Ability to understand and follow directions.
Self-direction.
Physical stamina.
Ability to lift/move heavy objects.
Knowledge of cleaning techniques and procedures.
Must obtain DOT Training Certification within sixty (60) days of hire and maintain throughout employment.
Must obtain Certified Health Care Environmental Services Technician (CHEST) Certification within one (1) year of hire and maintain throughout employment.
Must obtain Oklahoma State Applicator license and maintain throughout employment, if assigned applicable duties.
May be required to possess a valid driver's license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets the requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating.
The employee must not be and will not be under sanction by the United States Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector General (OIG) or by the General Services Administration (GSA) or listed on the OIG's Cumulative Sanction Report, or the GSA's List of Excluded Providers, or listed on the OIG's List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE).
May be required to meet and maintain periodic background investigation and adjudication for child care.
