Environmental Services Technician I Housekeeping
About The Position
The Environmental Service Technician I is responsible for executing the daily duties required to establish and maintain a safe, hygienic, and aesthetically pleasing care environment. While executing the assigned tasks, the EVS Tech will have contact with patients, visitors, and clinical and non-clinical staff. Contact may include physical, psychological, educational, and safety related and should be appropriate to the specific demographics of patients served in assigned service areas. The role is responsible for ensuring timely room turns related to patient throughput within the basic principles of environmental hygiene and infection prevention. In accordance with organizational standards of quality, the environmental services technician is an essential contributor to cleaning, disinfection, infection prevention and patient experience.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- High School or Equivalent
Nice To Haves
- 1-2 years of Customer Service experience
- 1-2 years of Hospitality experience
- 1-2 years of Environmental Services experience
Responsibilities
