About The Position
The Environmental Services Technician maintains assigned areas in the hospital and/or dental/medical clinics in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition. Responds to special requests for cleaning or assistance and maintains a smooth flow of work. The Environmental Services Technician is cross-trained in all areas and facilities of PDH. Location We are located at 1065 Bucks Lake Road, Quincy, CA 95971. Compensation Philosophy: We have 6 pay increments on our pay scales to compensate staff for 6 years of relevant experience.
Requirements
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, solutions, and procedures as relates to a health care facility.
- Communication in the English language effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Basic skills in reading, writing, and mathematics.
Responsibilities
- Selects cleaning materials and supplies and prepares solutions according to procedure.
- Loads service cart and transports to work area as needed.
- Cleans assigned areas by washing furniture, tile, fixtures, and equipment with germicidal solution.
- High dusts vents, cabinets and other furniture.
- Collects soiled linen and distributes clean linen.

- Child Care: PDH is thrilled to provide our Child Care Center services to all families in our area. Our program is operational from 7:45am to 5:15pm, Monday through Friday, and is approved for children aged 0 to 5 years. After submitting your application, our Child Care Director will get in touch with you about your acceptance into the program. Once approved, we will start the enrollment process.
