Job Overview Shriners Children's Greenville invites you to consider joining our Environment Services Team. We have an opportunity for a PRN (as needed) Environmental Services Tech to join our team. The hours for this position will be 11:30AM-8PM on Mondays and Tuesdays, and other times as needed. We have an amazing group of employees who keep our hospital sparkling at all times. Requirements

  • Ability to manage time efficiently
  • Ability to lift at least 25 pounds
  • Must be able to perform tasks which require bending, stooping, kneeling, stretching, standing and walking

Nice To Haves

  • High School diploma or GED and 1 year of janitorial or custodial experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provides housekeeping/cleaning/courier service to all patient care, treatment, and diagnostic areas.
  • Collecting and disposing of Bio-Waste properly.
  • Basic room cleaning, including dusting and trash removal
  • Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors
  • Terminal cleaning OR area
  • Assisting with patients, patient family members, and staff as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
