About The Position

Environmental Services Tech I is responsible for overall cleaning using the 7-step cleaning procedure Cleans patient rooms, isolation, & discharge cleaning Other required duties may be handling trash, bio-hazard waste and sharps containers. Refill paper, soap, towels, batteries, hand sanitizers etc. The incumbent is responsible for securing environmental services, cleaning carts, making proper use of wet floor signs, using .standard precautions etc. All other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent or 1-2 years' experience
• Moderate to heavy physical effort (lift/carry up to 50 pounds)
• Prolonged extensive or considerable standing/walking
• Lifts supplies and equipment
• Pushes/pulls or moves/lifts heavy equipment/supplies
• Manual dexterity and mobility is required
• Considerable reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching is required

Nice To Haves

• 2 years of previous housekeeping experience preferred

Responsibilities
