About The Position

Environmental Services Techs are responsible for cleaning, disinfecting and laundry duties in designated areas of the hospital as well as offsite locations. Environmental Services Techs are also responsible for the removal of trash, dirty linen, sharps containers and taking them to the appropriate storage area; sweeping, mopping and vacuuming the warehouse, hallways, stairs, restrooms, and office spaces.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and disinfecting designated areas of the hospital and offsite locations.
• Performing laundry duties.
• Removing trash, dirty linen, and sharps containers.
• Transporting waste to the appropriate storage area.
• Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming warehouse, hallways, stairs, restrooms, and office spaces.
