The position is located at Fresno Heart & Surgical Hospital Responsible for maintaining a safe, clean and inviting environment for the benefit of all patients, visitors and staff. Disinfects patient care areas with the goal of limiting the spread of pathogens and preventing hospital acquired infections. Contributes to efficient patient throughput by cleaning rooms in a timely manner. Works both independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, General Education Development (GED) or Completion of a CMC Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate upon hire or transfer into position required or
  • General Education Development (GED) obtained within 1 year of hire or transfer into position required. Failure to obtain the GED within 1 year will result in termination of employment.
  • 3 months of experience working in a customer service environment required

Nice To Haves

  • Environmental services experience in a hospital environment preferred
