As an Environmental Services Supervisor on our facilities team, your job will be to create a comfortable and safe environment — just like our patients have come to expect. In this role, you will supervise the technical and administrative functions of the Environmental Services department, acting as a technical resource for team members. You will implement goals consistent with your assigned units and provide effective utilization of personnel, policies, and procedures in order to ensure a clean, safe, and attractive environment. A caregiver in this position works days from 7:00AM – 3:30PM, including every 3rd weekend and two holidays per year.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • One year of experience as a Work Leader, Team Lead, Project Manager or Supervisor OR a Bachelor’s Degree

Nice To Haves

  • One year of experience managing direct reports
  • Environmental Services and/or housekeeping experience
  • Experience with computer programs (e.g., Excel, Word and Workday)

Responsibilities

  • Supervise caregivers in daily operations and evaluate performance.
  • Continuously inspect assigned areas to ensure high quality cleaning and maintenance is being performed.
  • Maintain staffing levels and approve and schedule paid time off and leave requests.
  • Ensure cross coverage.
  • Coordinate and provide orientation, education and training.
  • Improve procedures and processes.
  • Analyze workflow and procedures and recommend changes, as appropriate.
  • Provide recommendations to improve speed, quality and effectiveness of the department procedures.
