About The Position

Requirements

• Two years of experience in an acute care hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the environmental services process in accordance with hospital policy/procedure and infection control guidelines.
• Inspects the physical condition of the hospital and recommends necessary painting, repairs, and furnishings for efficient and sanitary space utilization.
• Supervises and monitors the work performed by environmental services aides.
• Oversees furniture moves and room set-up to ensure proper functionality and cleanliness.
• Maintains equipment in good working condition and ensures the availability of needed supplies.
• Conducts research on housekeeping technology improvements.
