About The Position
The Environmental Services (EVS) Specialist aids in maintaining a high-quality standard of housekeeping. This includes performing cleaning functions in assigned areas while following assigned schedules and specific methods to provide patients, visitors, and staff with a sanitary, orderly, and safe patient care environment. EVS Specialists aid in the prevention of cross contamination, controlling bacteria, odor, and sustaining acceptable aseptic conditions. They may assist with moves, recycling, delivery of supplies, and the removal of trash and biohazard waste. The EVS Specialist may use industrial cleaning equipment. And will specialize in floorecare.
Nice To Haves
- High School Graduate or equivalent preferred.
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in housekeeping or cleaning in a healthcare environment preferred but not required.
