About The Position

The Environmental Service Partner will be responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and sanitary environment in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements

• No license required
• High school diploma and or GED preferred, but not required
• Respects the confidentiality and privacy needs of the patients, family, and staff
• Must have ability to read, write, speak and understand English to communicate effectively with patients and staff
• Must be able to lift, bend, push, and pull; requires standing and/or walking approximately eight hours a day, cannot have lifting restrictions
• Ability to see well, with correction, at a distance of at least 20 feet and up close

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning tasks in maintaining an assigned area of the hospital
• Replenish supplies and other dispensable items
• Transport/dispose of waste and soiled
• Provide service to others in a willing and courteous manner
• Foster teamwork with peers and other hospital staff
• Performs cleaning of areas assigned to provide high quality as required by Joint Commission and State Board of Health
