Environmental Services Manager - Inpatient Rehabilitation
About The Position
A partnership between Atlanticare and Select Medical, our 60-bed medical rehabilitation hospital will open later this year and serve patients in southeastern New Jersey. Led by a physiatrist – a physician board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation – our team includes rehabilitation nurses; physical, occupational, and speech-language therapists; dietitians; case managers and other clinical and support staff. Position Summary: Supervises and assists as necessary in all work activities of Environmental Services personnel to ensure clean, orderly and attractive conditions in the facility.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of one year supervisory experience required.
- Minimum of three years experience in all phases of housekeepingrequired
- Demonstrated knowledge with hospital procedures required

- Associate's Degree preferred
Responsibilities
- Plans and directs the work of all housekeeping workers at the assigned facility.
- Provides job performance evaluation and supervision for all housekeeping workers.
- Manages the Housekeeping Department based on the approved budget and the goals and objectives of the hospital.
- Performs all of the duties of a housekeeping worker.
