The Travel Center Environmental Services/Maintenance Associate is responsible for maintaining the interior and exterior of the Travel Center. Requirements

Must possess a positive, enthusiastic attitude.

General maintenance and/or custodial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and vacuums hallways, stairs and retail space, including waxing and stripping floors.
Maintains building, performing minor and routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and other related maintenance activities.
Paints inside and outside the facility.
Notifies management concerning need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment.
Notifies management of any customer complaints.
Clears snow and debris from sidewalk.
Operates power equipment including: power washer, mower, etc.
Ensures the cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of the Travel Center complex meets company standards.
Maintains restrooms, checking for cleanliness and re-stocking supplies.
Completes entire work list each shift.
Keeps all cleaning supplies stocked, labeled, and properly stored.
Wipes down all equipment and game machines each shift and thoroughly cleans once per week.
Practices all company safety procedures to ensure a safe environment for employees and customers.
Answers radio calls promptly.
Ensures parking lot is free of trash and debris.
Cleans/details dispensers each shift.
Provides friendly and competent customer service.
Reports for work in a timely manner when scheduled.
Assists in other duties, as assigned.
